General Return Policy

At Tropical Marine Aquatic, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy with your order, you may be eligible to return it in accordance with the terms below.

This policy applies to purchases made directly through our website and delivered within Malta and European countries only.


Eligibility for Returns

  • Items must be returned within 14 days of delivery.
  • Items must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging.
  • Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is required.
  • Certain products are non-returnable, including:
    • Perishable or live aquatic goods (e.g., live fish, coral, or plants)
    • Custom or special-order items
    • Clearance or sale items (if stated as final sale)

Refunds

  • Once we receive and inspect your returned item(s), we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (e.g., defective or wrong item received).

Exchanges

  • We only replace items if they are defective, damaged, or incorrect upon arrival.
  • If you need an exchange, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with details and photos.

Return Shipping Costs

  • Customers are responsible for the cost of returning items unless the return is due to our error.
  • For international returns, we recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item without proof of delivery.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect:

  • Provide photos of the packaging and the product.
  • We will arrange a replacement, refund, or partial refund depending on the situation.
