Perfect for novice aquarists, they adapt well to stable community tanks and breed readily under optimal conditions.​

Set up success starts with a cycled tank featuring Java moss, Indian almond leaves, and cholla wood for biofilm grazing. Feed sparingly with sinking pellets, blanched veggies, or algae wafers—remove uneaten food within 2 hours to maintain water quality. These shrimp tolerate a wide parameter range but excel at GH 7-10 for healthy molts.​
