By doing so, you can adjust the amount you feed them, which helps reduce the risk of water quality issues caused by overfeeding. Thanks to advanced production technology, this food will not stain or cloud your pond water when used as directed.

The food is designed to be highly palatable, enhancing feeding efficiency and minimizing waste. Additionally, it contains stabilized vitamin C to support a strong and healthy immune system.

**Product Information:**
– **Recommended for:** Koi and all other pond fish.
– **Food type:** Floating pellet (Medium pellet: 5-5.5mm, Large pellet: 8-9mm).

– Minimum Crude Protein: 28%
– Crude Fats: 3.0%
– Crude Fibers: 4.0%
– Moisture Content: 10.0%

**Feeding Guide:**
– Feed your fish 2 to 3 times daily when the water temperature is 11°C or above.
– It is advisable to stop feeding your fish when the water temperature falls below 11°C, as their natural metabolism slows down.
– Provide as much Hikari Friend as your fish can consume within 5 minutes. Remove any excess floating food afterward.

**Feeding Tips:**
Regularly monitor the water temperature and adjust the amount and frequency of feeding according to this temperature, water condition, number and size of fish, and their activity level. Avoid overfeeding, and always remove any uneaten food after the feeding period.

If the temperature is below 11°C, Hikari recommends discontinuing Hikari Staple and switching to Hikari Wheatgerm pellets.
