Coloration:
Males are vibrantly colored with iridescent blue and green on their bodies, along with a brilliant red-orange coloration on their fins, especially the dorsal and tail fins.
Females are generally paler, with a more subdued silver to yellowish body.
Both sexes have a characteristic black line running horizontally along the body, dividing the bright colors above from the pale tones below.

Temperament: Peaceful, active, and social. Best kept in groups of at least 6-8 individuals to encourage natural behavior and reduce stress.
Compatibility: Compatible with other small, peaceful fish such as Tetras, Rasboras, Corydoras, and Dwarf Gouramis. Avoid larger or aggressive fish.
Breeding:Egg-layers; males display their beautiful coloration to court females. Eggs hatch in 3-4 days, and the fry can be fed infusoria or microworms.

Congo Tetras are sensitive to water conditions, so regular water changes and good filtration are essential for maintaining water quality.
