Seachem Zeolite™ – High-Capacity Ammonia & Heavy Metal Remover

Seachem Zeolite™ is a premium-grade, naturally occurring mineral filtration media designed to effectively bind ammonia and heavy metals in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums. Utilizing a highly efficient ion exchange mechanism, this product offers the highest ammonia binding capacity available on the market—up to ten times greater than standard zeolite products and twice the performance of its closest competitor.

Formulated to be chemically safe and effective, Seachem Zeolite™ will not deplete calcium levels in marine systems nor alter the general hardness in freshwater environments, making it suitable for a wide range of aquatic applications.

Directions for Use:

Rinse thoroughly before use. Place in a high-flow area of the filtration system without allowing the media to tumble. Use 250 mL for every 200 L (50 US gallons) of water. For smaller tanks, dose 5 mL (1 teaspoon) per 4 L (1 US gallon). Ammonia levels should reduce to zero within 24–48 hours. After ammonia is neutralized, Zeolite™ can be removed or replaced with activated carbon such as Seachem MatrixCarbon™. For ongoing heavy metal control, replace monthly.

For continuous ammonia management, consider using Seachem Stability® and Matrix™. Regular monitoring with Seachem Ammonia Alert® or MultiTest™ Free & Total Ammonia is recommended.
